Pet Run and Park
For Silver Towers, landscape architect Thomas Balsley Associates created a public park on the building’s western side. An outdoor landscape engages residents in an inviting, open air surrounding. The quarter-acre public park brings together the local community within a space that speaks to the neighborhood’s diverse character and the myriad rhythms of urban life.
Designed around a central open space surrounded by numerous treed pavilions, the park includes:
- A children’s area that features a giant play sculpture by artist Tom Otterness
- An enclosed dog run
- A bocce ball court an interactive mist fountain
- Tables and chairs for lounging and picnicking
